The
MILANO International FINE ART & ANTIQUES SHOW:
a harmonious and happy Walhalla for the art and antiques
market
The fifth edition of The MIFAS
– The MILANO International FINE ART & ANTIQUES
SHOW, the most awaited Italian event in the international
art and antiques trade panorama, will be held –
as usual – in the Palazzo della Società
per le Belle Arti ed Esposizione Permanente, in the
hearth of Milan, from 5th to 13th April 2003.
The MILANO International FINE ART
& ANTIQUES SHOW ,in its next edition, wants to
emphasise – enriching its title with the definition
FINE ART- the great importance of the painting section,
though – as always – backed up by those
of sculpture, works of art, furniture, jewellery,
ceramics, bronze and oriental art: from the High Period
to Twentieth century.
Fifty galleries and eight international
publishers, filtered by the usual choices of excellence,
reaffirm The MIFAS role as a show with a selected
number of participants but wide ranging in its content.
The maximum qualitative level –
always unanimously recognised – is guaranteed
by a Scientific Committee, composed by academics,
museum curators, experts and restorers, all of great
and internationally known, which estimates, before
the opening of the exhibition, all the objects and
works of art that the show will propose: objects and
works of art ,mostly never shown before, and dedicated
to the most educated collection, which isn’t
necessary the most expensive.
The MIFAS then will allow its public,
through an aesthetically fascinating way beyond full
of historical and artistic meanings, to approach any
acquisitions, with the confidence of the seriousness
and international value of every items proposed.
The MIFAS, in fact, is for internationality
the second exhibition in Europe, not only for the
remarkable participation of foreign exhibitors, but
above all for the international appeal of every participant’s
proposal.
The MILANO International FINE ART
& ANTIQUES SHOW is organised by Artmediainternational,
which has been involved in art and antiques for many
years supporting exhibitions, and also with the promotion
of important restorations. Artmediainternational succeeded,
through a serious and responsible professional involvement,
in realising with a deserved success a remarkable
trade and cultural fair at the same time, able to
attract, also from abroad, exhibitors and public of
a great quality.
